Our Services

Accreditation Group has been established to provide screener accreditation services to the aviation, air cargo, and maritime sectors.

With more than 20 years of security, training, and certification experience behind it, Accreditation Group offers an efficient, cost-effective screener accreditation service that ensures screening staff remain in compliance with national requirements, allowing organisations to get on with core business.

Accreditation Group Accreditors work around the staff roster and flight schedules to ensure screeners are accredited with minimal disruption to screening operations.

Accreditation Group, as a dedicated accreditation company, can manage all aspects of the screener accreditation process. Experienced and qualified Accreditation Group Accreditors conduct the accreditation in consultation and coordination with client security managers. Accreditation will be in accordance with the requirements of the CISC Screener Accreditation Scheme, and may be conducted as a one-off activity, or on an annual basis to ensure screening officers maintain their accreditation.

In addition, parent company CW Aviation Security Consulting brings decades of aviation security experience to Accreditation Group, including over a decade with the Office of Transport Security (now CISC). Where an aviation or air cargo security policy, documentation or standard operating procedure issue is identified, CW-ASC has the capacity to provide the aviation security consulting support needed to address the issue to ensure ongoing compliance with national and international aviation security requirements.

While some organisations choose to conduct their screener certification in-house, for most this is an expensive and time-consuming option, as it takes existing staff out of operations and places additional burdens on their time. In addition, placing supervisors or trainers in charge of determining whether their staff or trainees meet CISC requirements can lead to conflict-of-interest issues, and a tendency for in-house accreditors to bias towards confirming skills rather than providing an independent assessment.

Furthermore, at a time of high staff attrition rates, imposing an additional KPI on existing supervisor or training staff may exacerbate staff turnover, meaning time and money invested in training in-house accreditors may be continually lost and need to be replaced, meaning more training costs and lost productive hours.
